Asha Gipson, PH.D

Dr. Asha Nicole Gipson is a Hogan-certified executive coach specializing in leadership, organization development, and change management. She is the Practice Leader – EMEA for the Center for Executive Performance. She is also the co-founder of Blaxtar Essentials, an e-commerce platform offering handmade products from Africa. Before launching her own company, Dr. Gipson was the organization development coordinator for the Executive Masters Program in Change Leadership and Consultation at Teachers College, Columbia University.

She is a former Fulbright Fellow in the Czech Republic and has taught industrial organizational psychology and group dynamics at both the collegiate and graduate levels. She has also taught Team Dynamics to Non-Commissioned Officers in the U.S. Army through a partnership with West Point Academy and Teachers College. A scholar-practitioner, Asha is a published editor and has co authored several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.

Dr. Gipson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pomona College, a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, and a Ph.D. in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
